Saturday April 11th 2015 - Mont Tremblant

That time of year, when all self esteem and humility is set aside!

131 participants, dressed up in the most ridiculous outfits they could come up with, booting down the ski hill, doing their best to skim across a 100' pond of freezing cold water, then proceed their way to various bars to take in a few shooters, and finish their course at the Petit Caribou, where the chrono stops once they finish chugging a pint of beer!

Friday April 10th 2015 - Bell Centre

As part of their "Washington Generales Revenge" World Tour, the Harlem Globetrotters graced the new basketball court of the Bell Centre.  As usual, their silly pranks and tremendous skill amused the inner child in all of us.

It was such an entertaining act, that at moments, I caught myself watching the action and forgetting to take pics.  If you missed it, there's always Quebec City tonight!!

En cette date, on a fait notre première session nouveau-né, avec une modele de 10 jours.  Je ne peu vous dire a quelle point cette nouvelle "top modele" nous a charmé, en plus de nous faire rire.  

Felicitations au nouveau parents!!

We upgraded to the new Inspire 1...

Not unlike the ol' saying, our goal is to reach further & higher.  As such, we've purchased another piece of equipment to help us do just that.  DJI's new drone, the Inspire 1 is the unit that will take us that extra step to provide you with awesome 4k video footage and the sharpest of imagery.

We're looking forward to completing our training program, and set forth onto this adventure.

Marie-Eve a participé a sa deuxieme compé IDFA, et c'est classé 5ieme dans sa catégorie.  Une superbe progression depuis ces début dans ce sport, et sain mode de vie.

Ont a eux la chance de travailler avec elle le lendemain de sa présence sur scene, afin de lui faire quelques captures de son progrès.

Ont lui souhaite bonne continuité, et ont a d'avantage hâte de la revoir devant nos lentilles dans les mois a venir.

It's become a yearly tradition this time of year, as Mtl hosts a few pre-season games at the Olympic Stadium.  This year, it was the Toronto Blue Jays vs the Cincinnati Reds.

Yesterday evening, a friend and I decided to go for a walk in the wooded area, near his place in Ste-Rose, in search of spotting the large male Pileated Woodpecker he saw the week before. Cameras and telephoto lenses in hand, we left on our quest. We saw tons of fresh evidence that our animal was recently close by, but several kms in, we had to admit, that on this evening, he was nowhere to be found.

Nonetheless, it felt good to go out in the fresh air, and do photography as a passion, and not just because it was a mandate or project.  

My message to our feathered friend... I'll be back!

C'est au Centre Bell, lors d'une soirée de Hockey, que RBO a choisi de faire leurs promo de spectacles qui aurons lieu le 10 & 11 Juillet prochain, a cette meme amphithéatre.

Une compilation de leurs meilleurs sketchs et chansons serons vous faire re-vivre leurs moments de gloire.  

Apres avoir passé une tel soirée avec ces chics types, d'un humeur des plus lufoque, je ne peu que vous suggerer (fortement), de vous procurer des billets pour ce show qui sera ravir jeunes et moin jeunes.

The Bell Center was host to the it's 2nd boxing gala of 2015, with an impressive card, including the light heavy-weight world championship bout, opposing the local Jean Pascal vs Sergey Kovalev.  Our shooters, Tommy Picard & Vanessa Leclair were there to capture the action and atmosphere, during this event.

Bryan Adams - BA30 Reckless Tour....

Monday February 21st 2015 - Bell Center

We were mandated to cover the Bryan Adams BA30 Reckless Tour, but also required to sign a photo release, that strictly forbids photographers to use images for his own portfolio and/or website.

This, and the fact that we were limited to shooting a single song, and restricted to the right hand side of the pit, put a damper on my personal feelings towards this artist. 

His conduct doesn't make me think less of him as an singer/songwriter, but it does make me reconsider him as a person, especially since he's a renowned photographer himself.  It's a shame he's so vain.

CHC - Canadiens vs Blue Jackets...

February 21st 2015 - Bell Center (Montreal)

It had been quite some time since I had last shot my last NHL hockey game. Felt really good to be at a game with a camera in hand. :)

The Habs ended a 2-game losing streak, as they defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets in front of their hometown fans 3-1, and on the same token, taking the lead of the Eastern Division, with 81 points!

Without wanting to Jinx it, don't you think we've got a great, young and talented team, that could go VERY far in the series this year?  I think it would be time for us to put the big "C" on Max Pacioretty's shirt, and have him lead this team all the way to the cup.

Why would someone build a "Hack-Intosh"...

The reasons are simple...

Most people realize, that the Mac OS is not only as stable platform and offers great software, but it's also user friendly.  But what if you wanted/needed MORE POWER?!?

Let's face it, Apple machines are somewhat expensive (to say the least), and if you wish to upgrade to a stronger business machine, you might as well head on out to your financial institution, and take out a 2nd mortgage on your home.  But what if you could build your own "Mac", using top of the line, interchangeable PC Components, giving you the freedom to build a unit, as powerful as you heart desires??

That's right, 32/64GB Ram, 2x 500GB SSD Drives, 2x 4TB Hard disks, 4x USB 3.0 ports, a "Mother" of a video card, and an Intel i7 8-core or Xeon Processor?  

That's exactly what we've initiated to do.  Beware, this is not for the faint at heart, and some in depth knowledge is required before you venture in this route.  But the end result is nothing less than... wait for it.... Phenomenal!

Corona Theater - February 5th 2015

Charlie was true to himself and his fans, and made sure everyone was on their feet, singing and dancing to every note.  This was the 4th time I saw his concert, and the good news is... he told the crowd he'd be back in Fall of this year!
