Nickelback / Daughtry...

Close to 10,000 fans (9,970 to be precise), gathered at the Bell Centre, to see Nickelback, and we're quite certain everyone that attended was satisfied. We stayed for the entire show this time around, and all we can say is that every element lined up. The acoustic quality, the visuals and a great setlist, made this an amazing concert.  Daughtry did a bang up job warming up the crowd.

Toto...

Sunday June 11th 2017  |  Place des Arts (Salle Wilfred Pelletier)

The Grammy-award wining group, Toto, was in Montreal for the "An Evening with Toto" North American tour, that began on June 2nd in Lake Charles, Louissiana.  The show included excerpts from the bands most recent studio album, XIV, as well as classic hits.  Nothing short of a 2-hour concert. :)

La Grande Tournée - Parc Lachine

La Grande tournée du 375^e, un autre des événements phares de la Société des célébrations du 375^e anniversaire de Montréal, vise à mettre en valeur la richesse des différents quartiers de Montréal et de ses citoyens. Pendant 19 weekends consécutifs (du jeudi au dimanche), de mai à septembre 2017, chacun des arrondissements de la métropole sera, à tour de rôle, sous le feu des projecteurs. Dans un contexte festif et convivial, les amoureux de Montréal de toutes origines auront le bonheur de découvrir les caractéristiques distinctives de leur quartier en plus de partir à la découverte des quartiers environnants.

Cette semaine, c'étais au tour du Parc Lachine de recevoir la multitudes d’activités, de musiciens, d'artistes et diverses animations.

Barack Obama...

It was in front of a sell-out crowd that President Barack Obama gave an hour-long speech comprised of various topics, including economy, education, environment, and of course recent terrorist attacks, to which a specific statement sticks to mind... "We are going to have to replace fear by hope!"

The President then proceeded to answer 4 questions, to which his lengthy answers left everyone more than satisfied.
